Jimmy Cormier is a guitarist from Whittier, CA.

He studied with guitar faculty Dr. Joseph Jewell and Mike Scott at Fullerton College.

After a few years of playing in orchestra's and small bands around Los Angeles and Orange County Jimmy developed the ability to adapt to different settings and instruments. Performing in concert halls and at music festivals; singing, playing banjo, mandolin, and tres guitars. He also learned contrasting styles such as: Jazz, blues, rock, funk, pop, bluegrass, country, latin styles, acoustic and classical.

His Influences are Lenny Breau, Chet Atkins, The Beatles, Brent Mason, Keith Whitley, Robben Ford, Randy Travis, Scotty Anderson and Jeff Beck to name a few.

Jimmy has worked alongside several great musicians, musical directors, and A&R representatives including Conrad Sewell (Kygo), David Lamoureux (Gwen Stefani) and Justin Siegel (Black Eyed Peas).

Jimmy currently plays guitar for artist Rob Staley.
